FAQs
How much does this process cost?
Intake is $500 and if you decide you would like to continue with testing, that will be applied to the overall fee. Fee is dependent on the referral question.
What types of evaluations do you offer?
We provide neuropsychological, psychological, and academic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Our assessments are tailored to answer specific referral questions related to learning differences, ADHD, mood or emotional concerns, cognitive changes, and school-based support needs.
What’s the difference between a neuropsychological, psychological, and academic evaluation?
A neuropsychological evaluation looks at brain-based functions like memory, attention, processing speed, and executive functioning.
A psychological evaluation explores emotional functioning, mood, personality traits, and behavioral concerns.
An academic evaluation focuses on learning, achievement, and school-related challenges, including identifying learning disabilities and guiding educational accommodations.
We often integrate components of all three to provide a comprehensive picture.
How long does the testing process take?
The full process typically includes:
An initial intake session (60–90 minutes)
Testing sessions (usually 4–6 hours across 1–2 days, depending on age and referral question)
A feedback session to review results and recommendations
A comprehensive written report delivered within 2–4 weeks of the final testing session
Do you collaborate with schools?
Yes! As both clinical and school psychologists, we understand how to bridge evaluation findings with classroom needs. With parent permission, we’re happy to speak with teachers, learning specialists, or administrators and provide recommendations that align with IEP, IESP, or 504 planning.
Do you offer testing for college students or adults?
Absolutely. We assess college students and emerging adults for attention, executive functioning, and mental health concerns impacting academic or occupational performance. We also offer adult and older adult evaluations, including memory and cognitive assessments related to aging or neurological changes.
Will this evaluation help qualify my child for school accommodations or an IEP/IESP?
Yes, independent evaluations are often used to support requests for services or accommodations. We provide detailed reports with evidence-based recommendations that can be shared with schools or used in IEP/IESP meetings, private school planning, or standardized testing accommodations.
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider, but we offer superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We’re happy to help guide you through that process.
